The Ethiopian Max 8 arrived for crew rest while on its delivery flight to Addis Ababa.
Built in 2019 the aircraft was originally destined for lease to Ural Airlines as VP-BHR.
However, it was stored at Moses Lake in December 2019 (initially due to the worldwide grounding of all Max 8s) and then after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022 the lease to Ural Airlines was cancelled.
It returned to Boeing Field in June 2023 for further storage and is still in basic Ural colours.
