Comments
Unfortunately, Aer Lingus A330 EI-DUZ suffered a bird strike on take off (for Beijing) and returned to land safely with one engine shut down.
A replacement aircraft, EI-GAJ subsequently departed this evening to collect the vital cargo in China. The airline also used an A330 on a Heathrow service to collect Irish citizens who had been flown back from Peru on a special British Airways flight.
* Denotes cargo flights to/from Beijing Capital International Airport.
