Comments
The United 777 declared a Mayday after departure and returned safely to land.  This followed an advisement from the Tower controller that he had observed black smoke coming from the aircraft's APU during take-off. Luxair's 737 departed on the regular charter to Faro but it also had to return with a technical issue.
