Five jumbos on the deck at Dublin this morning!

The cargo 'jumbo' arrived from Liege to transport four elephants from Dublin Zoo to Cincinnati to become the first residents of the US city's new $25 million elephant habitat.

 

Air Hamburg's E135 aborted take off on runway 28L @ 1335 due to smoke in the cabin and an evacuation was safely carried out on taxiway 'Sierra'.  Thankfully, there was no fire and the aircraft was later towed to the west apron.  Consequently the runway was closed for several hours and all flight operations moved to runway 28R (much to the delight of the Malahide residents!).
